With more than 100 years of experience in production and development of refractory products, LWB supplies to its customers high quality products and services with the lowest costs.

With large high quality dolomite reserves, extracted from mines in York (USA), Hagen-Halden (Germany), Marche-les-Dames (Belgium) and Qingyang (China), LWB is today the world leader in supply of basic refractory and dolomitic products for the steel, lime and cement industries.

Dolomite and all other refractory products marketed by the company are produced in ten operational units, located in Europe, Asia and North and South America. The total production capacity exceeds 800,000 tons/ year of shaped and unshaped refractory products. As a function of the requirements of the iron and steel industry and its end users, LWB maintains two research and development centers, located in Germany and in the United States.

The company counts also on an experienced team, with the objective to improve existing products and to develop new solutions, in harmony with current market needs.

Today, all LWB operations have been incorporated into Magnesita.

INSIDER
Founded in 1991, Insider has an industrial plant strategically located in the Vale do Aço, with a current production capacity of 8,650 tons/year, concentrated mainly in booms, snorkels, impellers and refractory concrete, among other products, used in the production process of integrated and large sized iron and steel plants.

Insider has available varied solutions based on high performance products. Furthermore, it produces an extensive line of conventional refractory concretes, insulating materials, dry and wet mortars, antacid materials, ramming masses and plastic masses.

Currently, all Insider operations have been incorporated into Magnesita.
