Magnesita maintains a specific engineering area for equipment related to the use of refractory products. This area includes engineering, consultancy, maintenance, technical support, manufacturing and refurbishment of equipment units.

Internally manufactured equipment
The equipment types manufactured internally by Magnesita include:
• Pneumatic gunning machines;
• Tundish spray machines;
• Spreaders for repairing electric arc furnace bottom and banks;
• Shooter for converters;

Magnesita may also assume the responsibility for the selection, acquisition, installation, operation, maintenance and performance of third party equipment considered essential for the plant, such as:
