Magnesita has ample experience in the engineering, manufacture, supply, assembly and maintenance of sliding gate valve mechanisms for ladles and tundishes; totally focused on the system operational safety. To maintain these mechanisms, Magnesita also provides for the supply of spare parts, which are the mechanism replaceable components. These parts can be supplied by means of a performance contract and/or through direct sale.

In North America, Magnesita’s sliding gate valve business is part of the KMR (Krosaki-Magnesita Refractories) joint venture company.
